Nitrogen Part 5: Patrick Brown on predicting yield and the future of nitrogen management

Nitrogen Part 5: Patrick Brown on predicting yield and the future of nitrogen management

Today’s episode is focused on almonds, but have some validity for all tree crops. Nitrogen management in California is not quite as advanced as in other areas of the Midwest since we manage nutrition based on an entire irrigation block. Patrick discusses how this may change in the future, as well as the basics of predicting yield when actual yield is unknown.
